Extruder

The NORDIMPIANTI EVO extruder is designed to produce high-quality concrete hollow slabs.
The machine offers a suitable solution for companies that need a flexible approach to producing hollowcore slabs in different sizes.
The extruder casts slabs in a single phase using a vibration-free extrusion method. This keeps machine noise to a minimum.
Holes in the slab are created by augers feeding concrete around forming tubes.
The standard thickness of the prestressed slab ranges from 150 mm to 520 mm with widths of 600 mm, 1200 mm, 1250 mm, 1500 mm and 2400 mm.

The drive unit houses the main motors, gearbox, control panel and concrete hopper. From the hopper, concrete is fed to the feeding augers. The number of feeding augers that form the concrete varies depending on the number of holes required in the hollow slabs. The augers feed and compact the concrete mixture around the forming tubes and so casting takes place as a continuous process. The machine moves by reacting to the pressure created by the feeding augers on the already cast concrete. The drive unit can be removed and quickly mounted on another forming insert allowing production to be quickly switched to pieces of a different size.
