Precast

Tilting tables

Bianchi tilting tables are designed to produce precast panels for facade elements, sandwich walls or solid walls in various thicknesses for residential, commercial and industrial buildings. The tilting mechanism allows the panels to be easily removed in an upright position after the concrete has cured.

The tilting mechanism consists of rotating the table around a fixed point by means of telescopic hydraulic cylinders, the number and strength of which are adequate to the size and load capacity of the table itself. The cylinders are actuated by a hydraulic control unit equipped with pumps, electric motor levers and pushbuttons that can control one or more tables, according to customer requirements.

The design features of the table are:
Customized casting sheet (generally up to 5m wide and 100m long), 10mm thick, braced with metal profiles to form a strong frame; laid and welded on a basic longitudinal structure.
Natural iron steel surface; if desired, the surface can be polished for a mirror finish.
The casting level is about 85 cm from ground level;
The tables are adapted to different weights per square meter (from 400kg/m2 to 900kg/m2) of concrete load.
The bottom side is built into the table and bolted to the arms, which provide adequate height adjustment when operated manually with a hoist crane.

Depending on the type of panels the customer would like to produce, the tables can also include sides and tops; tables with fixed sides are used to produce panels of the same size, while a more flexible solution, represented by magnetic formwork systems, is required for variable size production. Bianchi offers a wide range of formwork systems, as well as a complete portfolio of magnets.

The line can be equipped with lateral tilting formwork that can be tilted manually or hydraulically.
All connections between the moving parts of the tables are equipped with a rubber seal to prevent concrete leaks.

The tables can include a vibration system consisting of a series of vibrators, which can be electric or pneumatic. Vibration compacts the concrete by removing air and increases its mechanical strength after curing. In addition, vibration allows the use of concrete with lower moisture content and speeds up the curing process to increase productivity.

The table heating system also increases productivity by speeding up the curing process. This system consists of a series of finned pipes placed under the table, where hot water or industrial steam flows at a pressure of 4-5 bar. The lower part of the table can be covered with insulating canvas or plastic panels.
