Horizontal cement silos
EUROSILO mobile horizontal silos are an excellent alternative wherever it is not possible to use a stationary silo. Horizontal silos are used for storing and feeding cement and other bulk materials, such as lime. The manufacturer ensures that the limited height of the structure and the convertibility of mobile silos allow them to be located and used on a construction site without the need to obtain a building permit. The mobile horizontal silos can be transported on standard trailers and quickly prepared for transshipment and installation. The use of standard trailers does not generate out-of-pocket transportation costs and does not require investment in specialized equipment. Many companies have their own standard trailers that can be used for this purpose. Portable horizontal silos are supplied with a support frame, telescopic legs for simple loading, unloading and installation in the yard. The manufacturer ensures the stability of the horizontal silo in the yard by using standard supports that are also used for laying out other machinery such as concrete pumps, for example.
Mobile horizontal silos with electronic measuring device are mobile storage tanks for cement or other bulk material for construction purposes. The silos are made of steel slabs with a shape that provides the required strength and a natural discharge using a screw conveyor located at the bottom of the tank. The devices are covered with an epoxy primer and a polyurethane finish.
The silo is made of steel plates shaped to provide the required strength and a natural material chute to a screw feeder located at the bottom of the tank. A horizontal conveyor feeds the material to a second conveyor fixed at a 45° angle feeding the material to a height of more than 4 meters. The second conveyor is equipped with a ball joint to ensure that it is fixed at different angles vertically and horizontally.
The attachment hopper is suspended from strain gauges that transfer the load to the corresponding frame. The frame is equipped with independent telescopic legs that can be extended horizontally and adjusted in height. Such a solution makes it easier to load and unload the silo from a truck or trailer and ensures good positioning on the construction site. The silo is equipped with a control panel to control the conveyors, vibrators and pump both by means of a timer and a programmable microprocessor controlling the electronics.
Parameters are changed via a keypad on the digital device. The system allows continuous control of the amount of stored and unloaded material: the screen indicates the net weight of cement in the tank and the material is unloaded automatically when the desired amount is given. Up to 99 easily modifiable discharge formulas can be stored in memory.
Water tanks can be mounted on the frame. They are equipped with floats at the inlet and a centrifugal pump at the outlet, which pumps water to the discharge height of the inclined conveyor. The dosing of the number of liters of water is also digitally controlled, allowing the amount of water to be adjusted to the appropriate formula.

EUROSILO mobile horizontal silos are manufactured in capacities from 15m3 to 65m3.
We offer horizontal silos in Poland in two options: the T version with a timed material discharge system through an adjustable timer, and the DE version with electronic weight dosing (strain gauge system).
